ISERD, the Israeli Directorate for FP6, is in charge of the organisation of the Workshop on Public Health.
This workshop shall not only discuss and agree the future activities to be promoted in this sector but also help to identify the most relevant means and ways of cooperation as well as the effective use of information technology to this end and the improvement of human research capacities.
To accomplish it, a number of round tables will debate simultaneously subjects of specific interest, during the first day. During the second day, reports will be presented from all working groups and discussed by the plenary.
Experts will explain their views on the state of the art of research on this subject in their countries as well the main S&T priorities to be promoted in the near future at the national and regional level.
