1. Overview the state of the art and highlighting of best practices in the EU Member States and in the Mediterranean Partner Countries.
2. Identification of key topics in every sector (i.e. ICT, Socio-economic & Humanities, Transport), of mutual EU and Med interest and with important impact to the local economies.
3. Proposals for the most appropriate tools for the implementation of the activities (common research activities, networking and coordination activities, activities for the improvement of Human potential, etc.).
The experts will form three separate groups and will work in depth on the topics mentioned above. Every group will prepare a separate "group report". A Chairperson and a Rapporteur will be identified for every group.
"Group reports" will be presented and discussed in plenary in order to add missing elements, to merge some parts if necessary and to propose a common introduction.
